Heating with radiant heat

Conventional heating systems are based on the heating of air. With room heights starting from three meters this poses problems because warm air rises and collects at a ceiling. In addition, air heating constantly moves air (convection) and thereby whirls up dust.

If you want to heat individual areas of your enterprise differently, you need not necessarily make structural changes. You can use ceiling-mounted radiant panels. Their radiant heat perceived as pleasant (comparable with the warming effect of the sun). They are almost maintenance-free and have a long life span. Since they are installed in the ceiling, they present no obstacles in the work area.

Ceiling-mounted radiant heating panels have many advantages

Upward the panels are equipped with insulation mats. Thus no trapped heat accumulates under the cover. Since there is no convection, there is also no dust problem. While air heating traps warm air in the higher regions, ceiling-mounted radiant heating panels provide for even heating at all room heights.

Ceiling-mounted radiant heating panels can be operated at low heights with inlet temperatures of 35º C and are suitable for HHV and low-temperature heating plants. Water flows in the heating elements.

The optimal controllability, the zone-wise heatable panels, and the radiation influence lead to a clear decrease of the necessary heating energy. No power is needed for heat distribution (fans). Because radiant heat is perceived as 2º warmer than conventional heating, the room temperature can be lowered. A reduction of 1º C reduces heating costs by an average of 6%.
