Sensation for ENERGY GLOBE 2007: Project submissions from 109 nations!
“It is absolutely stunning that
significantly more than half the world’s nations are participating –
clear proof of the global importance of the ENERGY GLOBE,” says ENERGY
GLOBE founder and organizer Wolfgang Neumann with justified pride.
Every continent is represented with excellent projects. The submissions
come from such renowned names as Daimler Chrysler, BMW, Schott AG and
Unilever, as well as the City of Vancouver, universities in Texas,
California, Peru and more, research facilities, the Iranian Ministry
for the Environment, etc. This likewise underscores the significance of
the ENERGY GLOBE, today’s most important environmental prize worldwide.
In the coming weeks a large panel of experts will conduct the
evaluation. Then the exciting race for the World Award for
Sustainability begins. The award ceremony will take place on 28 March
2008 in Brussels.
First, however, the award ceremonies in
Austria’s provinces will launch in September/October with its
culmination at the ENERGY GLOBE Austria Gala on 30 November 2007 in
Wels. Here the best environmental achievements in Austria will be
showcased in the realm of an awesome show evening.
